Street Heat Solidarity Committee is a joint project of the Western Mass Area Labor Federation and Massachusetts Jobs with Justice and seeks to recognize and build the power of working people in their roles as both members of their union and their community. This committee envisions itself as a space to engage rank and file union members and union leadership, community organizations, and activists to create a network of solidarity that proactively collaborates on campaigns that affect us all in the realms of workers’ rights, civil rights, and human rights
