Street Heat is a joint project with the Western Mass Area Labor Federation and Jobs with Justice, and works on the agendas of both organizations to build power for the working people of Western Mass. Labor and community activists meet together for solidarity and to proactively plan specific workers’ rights, civil rights, and human rights campaigns. These meetings bring unions and community allies together to discuss the strategies they are adopting to support their members, obstacles unions are encountering in the process, and current resources and initiatives underway to support our workers and community during the epidemic.
