Labor Notes and the Western MA Area Labor Federation Virtual Troublemakers School: Building Labor Power in Western MA

The Western Mass Area Labor Federation is excited to join forces with Labor Notes to organize the first virtual Troublemakers School in Western Mass. This school will be a great opportunity for union members and labor activists to share strategies and build the solidarity required in these tough times. We aim to build labor power and solidarity from the Worcester Hills to the Berkshires. Workshops and panel discussions will highlight the struggles, wins, and ongoing organizing efforts of workers in Western MA. Register now through the following link.

Sessions will include:

  • Organizing skills workshops: Beating Apathy; Assembling Your Dream Team; and Turning an Issue into a Campaign.

  • Race and Labor

  • Be the Union You Want Your Union to Be

  • Fighting austerity and winning

  • Building power through community-labor alliances

  • Housing is a Labor –Community Fight

  • New Organizing

Dates: Sessions will be held Friday evening February 5, and during the day on February 6 and 7th. Full scheduled TBA.
